I'm adding a Lionel Legacy to my layout, which is currently controlled by MTH's DCS. I'm wondering if I can wire a TPC300 in parallel with my TIU. Anyone on the forum run both systems?

Sure, I've connected the Legacy base, the TIU, and two TPC300's, everything worked. If you run into serial port drive issues, you might consider the MANCO booster for the serial port.
I got bought the Legacy system without the dealer selling me a TPC. Not being familar with Lionel (I've been an MTH user only), I didn't know I needed one.
Are you running conventional? You don't need a TPC to run command. You can also run conventional through the MTH TIU, not sure why you need a TPC.
I'm running MTH's DCS. I had all MTH engines before this Lionel BN SD40-2 shouted out my name.
In that case, you don't need a TPC, at least I don't know what you're going to do with it.
I run DCS and Legacy together. If I want to run conventional i park the command engines on dead sidings and yards. I then run conventional with the DCS remote on variable voltage or with my traditional ZW. Very simple. Just a few switches. No TPC involved.
