Having just posted the latest on my AVC solutions, I need to move on to the Accessory motor controller I just bought.  I have a plan for diverting the output from the AMC between the brush leads on the faster transfer table after setting it to just the right voltage to keep the tables synchronized.  I have tried the 3 ohm, 50 watt variable resistors to vary the motor speed with no success.  If someone could explain exactly how to wire them to reduce voltage, it might save me some grief and money.  My AMC solution is on hold because I can't control the output.  I am supplying 15 volts to the AMC from the output on the AVC.  As I read the instructions, after programming the unit as engine 35, I should be able to key in ENG35 AUX1/ 2 to address motor output 2 which is controlled by the throttle knob on the CAB1.  I should then be able to increase or decrease the output voltage for motor 2 within the 0 to 15 volt range.  My problem is, as soon as I power up the avc, the 15 volt output which supplies power to theAMC passes the full 15 volts to all the AMC outputs and will not respond to the throttle.  Does anyone use the AMC, and can you advise me as to what I am doing wrong.  I am not sure when the program jumper should be removed and replaced. I am also a little confused about the constant and interactive modes and how they interact.

I think you need to revisit the instruction manual.  You can set the AMC to either constant or variable voltage to four motors per accessory, for a total of eight on the layout.  You set the constant voltage when you are being interactive with the accessory.  That step is important and easy to screw up.  You have to follow the steps and quite frankly, it takes a while to get the hang of it.  Once you do, you can feed just the right amount of juice to your transfer track or whatever accessory it is.  I have two AMCs.  One powers a log loader and my lights in the buildings, the other powers a gantry crane, making it totally interactive with the Cab1, and a light in my blacksmith shop forge.  Pretty cool little box.  Good luck with your AMC experience.
