Nice looking loco but is it now useless? My example is missing one connector roller. I can see no way of opening the motor to have it replaced. With just one roller the wheels make a fraction of a turn and stop so I guess both rollers are required. Suggestions?
The two issues might be unrelated. Pickup assemblies can be rebuilt, but there may be other issues with the motor. Flyer motors can be partially disassembled to fix things, but the cost of the repair may FAR exceed the cost of finding another used loco that works and swapping the motors....
