I have seen many comments about ERR boards being put in O Gauge engines but don't recall any comments about using a Dallee board. I saw them at York and you get to pick from several different whistles, horns, bells, exhausts, etc.
Any thoughts?

Being close to twice the price of the ERR board, and being conventional only, I've never considered them.
I do like the idea of one board with multiple personalities, that's a plus.
I put a whistle and bell board along with a speaker from Dallee in my standard gauge 392 tender , and totally enjoy it.
I just got one for steam and one for diesel and the 2 drawbacks, for me, were 1; you need to press the button on the sound board to change the whistle or bell sounds which means taking the cover off the compartment any time you want to change sounds. On mine you can't do it from the controller. 2; the controller is big and has a fan to keep it cool and you can hear it. Although I do like mine.
