but now I LOVE them!!! I bought a Weaver car off the internet from a online retailer. I got the car and it was damaged slightly. The retailer would take it back but had no more like it and it was hard to find so I wanted to keep it. I contacted Weaver about the issue and they had me completely happy with a parts fix to make my car whole in a week. Great customer service, quick, polite....real pros!!! If I could I'd have a lot more Weaver products and will buy them when I can!!! Thanks Weaver!!

I sent them an email this week thanking them for being "mostly" made in the USA and promised them, I would buy more of their trains because of that.
They were very appreciative.

I had some issues with three of my weaver cars they took care of it fast and the third car i bought new diecast trucks for it. It had the plastic trucks wanted to upgrade it then come find out my screws was not long enough and weaver sent me a dozen of longer screws at no cost.
I have 3 Weaver locos (2 diesels & an 0-6-0) from early 90's. I've converted all to PS2 and they are among my best running locos.

He said Dave!! Weaver models has great service...
Two separate sentences. Dave's the name of the guy he's responding to.
I just saw a Weaver Gp38-2 in LV with PS2 go for a low $116.00 plus $15.00 S&H! Boy I wished that I bid!
I'm a big fan I'd buy more Weaver engines but I have all the ones in the roadnames I run and they currently offer the least number of diesel choices since I got into the hobby.
Weavers is just down the road from a great little breakfast place. The factory is small. Mostly does painting and assembly. The parts are made else where. Nice little outlet store but everything was too expensive for me. I suspect that the offerings vary. I will go back and try again some time.
