Atlas O 70 ton covered hopper Burlington Northern

The Announcement for the ACF 70-Ton covered hoppers was October 4, 2017 and the deadline was November 1, 2017.

That was only 9 months ago.

It really wasn't the date ordered of concern.  I ordered them long enough ago that when my VISA card was charged I had no idea what it was for.  And really, I'm just lamenting waiting for a SP&S NW-2 over a year (BTO) to have it arrive in the wrong color. Or this hopper car with different trucks that wouldn't pivot. 

I got two same cars (just different car numbers) in a series of  4 with two different set of trucks.

 At $80 plus dollars for each car the trucks ( I think) ought to match and pivot. 

Sale priced at $78.96 each, I have a ton of BN left - four road numbers - starting to run out of the rest of them.....

The Phillips head screws can be loosened from the bottom with a large Phillips head screwdriver. 

The trucks are roller bearing on the car number BN 424 469

The trucks are friction bearing on BN 424 250
