I want to thank everyone who has contribute to this post we’re almost to 20 likes that’s more than I ever thought this thread would have I can’t thank you enough for posting your great looking automobiles and trucks keep those pics coming
I forget where I purchased this car, but it's a 1/43 scale BMW 323i from Gama. A pretty basic model, although the doors do open. The interesting part is the plastic base, which features "Made in Western Germany" pretty prominently. Obviously this die cast car was manufactured long after Reunification so either they just kept using the molds or this could be one of the models produced by the MIR toy factory in Bulgaria.
Bought these at a train show for $5 - horrible colors, garish gloss paint with chrome wheels.
Disassembled, repainted and now pass the 18" rule
Pete, who made those two model A's? In photo, they like better models than one cheap brand commonly seen, but suffer from their same problem of needing headlights and bar lowered. (May be THAT brand?)
Thanks - 18" rule?
!8" rule - most viewers are more than 18" from objects on the layout and don't notice minor errors/imperfections...
Here is a Jag my wife found in a hobby store we were perusing the other day. Reminded us both that our first car was a red English roadster (not a Jag but a Triumph) so we had to have it...put in a couple of people and its now a resident of "small town" on the L&S.
Have fun everyone
Don

Well, shoot Knute. Went to two different stores and couldn't find one. At that price I'd buy a shoe box full, too.
Is there a makers or importers name on it?
