Getting ready to buy some stuff from AZATRAX so I searched here to see what I could learn. Not much. Any users of their products that could give some opinions on quality ?
Thanks

Joe;
I have the Azatrax MRD1-V and the D2T-Xing.
Their products are made very well and they work just as advertised.
Also, the documentation for the products (available on-line free & also comes with the products) is done very well with special attention given to the use of color and the placement of figures to represent things such as LEDs and the on-board connectors.
I can say without any reservation their products are a good buy and I highly recommend them.

I believe they are pretty highly spoken of around here, but maybe not a lot of users though. Also, I do not recall ever seeing a negative comment about Azatrax here on the forum?
I have no first hand experience with any of their products, but there are some I find interesting and may get around to trying some out one of these days. I wouldn't be afraid to place an order with them if I had current needs for something they have.
Thanks
I am sure you have already checked out http://www.azatrax.com/, all the products are listed and the instructions are available for download. We are using one of their detector and relay units on our module lift bridge. The bridge goes up (manually for now) a bell rings and power is cut to nearby modules.
Azatrax on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 100 !!! And support, none better !!!
I have many of the Azatrax sensors on my layout, and they work great. I use them not only to sense the trains to operate signals, but also to detect objects and people.
Examples:
I have automated the Lionel Sawmill so it starts when the log car dumps the logs on the mill, and then stops when there are no more logs to saw, as detected by Azatrax sensors.
Installed on the fascia of the layout through two small holes that are practically undetectable, I sense when people are present (in front of) accessories, such as the Lionel kids on a swing, etc., to start their operation.
The Azatrax sensors for trains allow the sensors to be spaced apart to span across three tracks.
Be sure to check all the sensor variations they offer, including their relays.

Thanks Alex. I emailed them since I need to go across 4 lines. The reply was I could send drawings or pics and we would go from there. Sent the stuff yesterday so I'll give it a week or 2 for a response
