Take a few moments to look through the site and you'll see why Bill was such a great guy and why so many folks will miss him.  I love the layouts visited section!

Allan if you feel this should be added to the thread you have running by all means move it there.  I always enjoyed looking through Bill's site.

Thanks for posting that link, Marty!

I'll let your thread stand as it is so it won't get "lost" in the responses on the other thread.

Bill loved this hobby and he loved being associated with OGR.  We, of course, valued his participation and his devotion.  He truly was a member of our small and close family, and the place will never be quite the same without Bill and his booming voice dropping by for a visit or to drop off an idea for an article or an actual article.  I'm just hoping that Judy continues to bring young Zach, their grandson, by for frequent visits because I'm quite comfortable that the love Zach already has for trains--real and toy--will be with him for a lifetime.

You are right in noting that Bill's website adequately demonstrates his devotion to this hobby.  He not only visited every event and layout he possibly could, he also documented those visits.  Quite a guy, and in possession of a true heart of gold!
