     The BDSME located at 900 Macada Road, Bethlehem Pa 18017 will be having their open house on the following dates:

  December 7th and 8th

  December 14th and 15th

  January 4th and 5th

 January 11th and 12th

 February 8th and 9th

All dates are 1:00 -4:00 PM, Layouts on the first floor are 2 Rail O Gauge, 3 Rail O Gauge, On30 O Gauge, S Gauge                                                                          2nd floor Layouts are HO and 3 Rail Switching Layout (Visiting Youth can participate)

Suggested Donation is $5 per adult. All children under 13 are free. If you are a forum member mention it at the door and wave the donation. If you have a scout in your family attend Scout Night on Tuesday December 10th from 7-8:30 PM the whole family is welcome.

Attached are videos from last years open houses. Unfortunately I have moved to Salisbury Maryland so I will not be attending but hope all members in the Tri State area will stop by to see this excellent model railroad club.

Hi Guys,

     The open house season at the BDSME begins again this coming weekend. I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday Season. I am attaching a video of the HO layout my friend Ray sent to me. It was the first time he added music to a video which is OK for HO since 90% of their engines do not have sound. The train is very interesting as the HO guys usually run a 100+ car coal train at the open houses. This year they are running a 100+ car ore train. Nice motive power on this train with steam pushers on the end of the train.

    Keep the Holiday season going by visiting the BDSME this weekend Saturday and Sunday 1 to 4 PM.

Hi forum members,

       I received a few videos showing last weeks activity at the BDSME. This weekend is another open house. Doors will be open Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th from 1-4 pm. Doug’s N&W 611 J

Forum friends and members,

       This weekend February 8th and 9th is the last weekend of the Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers open house season. No Super Bowl to watch so why stay home! Here is another HO video of the club’s Military Train. This past year the club lost our long time member and friend Bruce who ran the train at all the club’s open houses after a long battle with cancer. The club now runs this train to honor Bruce and keep his spirit alive.
