Can a TMCC Engine be reset thru DCS??

Hi Everyone. I've been running my Lionel 777 Commodore Vanderbilt via DCS for a few months now and life was good. 

I was out of town for a while. When I got back I went to run "the Commodore" again and all I get on the engine is a headlight. When I push the AX1 button on the DCS remote the engine would normally come to life. But when I push the AX1 button now, I get.....nothing🙁.

I did do a engine ID reassignment (from 1 to 77) a while back and immediately ran the engine afterwards; and it ran just fine. 

I searched the Internet and read that an engine reset may need to be done for non-responsive TMCC engines. BUT.....I don't have a TMCC remote. So....can a TMCC engine reset be done through DCS??

Hi John.....thanks for the quick response. On a whim, I reassigned the Engine ID #. As part of this process, the old ID # (which was not #1) is displayed with new ID # I entered. The old ID# wasn't even close to the number I assigned the engine (which was 77). Once the new ID # was assigned, the engine came to life and has been running great since. I'm guessing the number got scrambled somehow? Pretty weird huh? One thing I do recall; the day I first assigned the engine a new ID #, I also assigned another TMCC engine it's own new engine ID (I did one after the other). Should both TMCC engines not be powered when doing this process? That other engine had no problems and runs great.
