I have a Lionel Mohawk 6-18064 that I would like to convert the Pullmore motor to a Can motor and also put Electric Railroad cruise in it. Is there a source to pick up these motors at and also is there any type of U joint that I would need to fit the motor in properly? Has anyone done this upgrade? I know that FRANK TIMKO has done this upgrade, but heard he has lots of work. Thanks for your help and time.

Frank Timko is the guy to go to, he has the machined motor mounts to make it happen. You may be able to simply buy the motor mount and do the upgrade yourself bolting in the parts.

I've done mine with Timko. It's very easy to do yourself. Just buy the motor from him. He will need your existing coupling half from the pullmor motor. Give him a dimension as to where to mount the coupling. Any drawing you can make will work such as distance from existing motor mount to end of coupling.
