Cannot find Base using mutiple base units

The general rule of thumb is, one command base for every thing within radio signal range. If these layouts are in the same building the radio signal is carried over the buildings electrical system.

When one layout is running other one is off. Command base is unplugged on one so only one command base is functional at any time. Thanks for the reply.

Only the 2 same remotes connect to both command base units when They are turned on. Never have the 2 command base units on the same time. (At least I don’t do it often. That third remote will not connect to either base unit.

Got it thanks. I will update the units that communicate to each other first and the try the one remote that fails to communicate to either base unit.

Also as I see the base version is at 1.60 and the remote is at 1.61Two questions:

Can I go from 1.2 directly to 1.60 on the base units and 

can I go directly to 1.61 on the remotes and if the remote is at 1.61. And the base is at1.60 will they communicate. I thought they had to be the same version?
