It's been awhile since we've had one of these...post some pic's when you have a moment.
Here's my only prewar Flyer...Motor 1201 leads a short freight past Hellgate southbound:
Motor 1201 burns through headlights like nobody's business. Have used up to 18 volt and still, pfffft, gone after a few minutes...
Here's one for Spring...a Lionel 248 repainted in Girard colors with a 529 and 530 painted likewise:
I bought the 248 in it's "restored" condition many years ago, and found the coaches in stripped condition on-line. The Wood colors on the coaches are a hair off, but not bad.
RJ - hope you are doing well.
Post 'em if you got 'em...

Still snowing in New England, and the skiing is still good, the layout rebuild is delayed. So, a shot from a few years back.

Normally I only run tinplate under the Christmas tree but after seeing this post the Tin Goddess got the best of me so it was time for a little carpet running. A little bit of Lionel, throw in some Marx clockwork and top off with a touch of American Flyer and Marx accessories but all tinplate.

My portable tin plate layout project. Kinda stalled at the moment.
Marx = tinplate!
Marx = tinplate!
Now that's nice, and Baltimore Oriole colors to boot!

This Maerklin No. 1 gauge CS66-12921 locomotive had water damage to one side when I bought it at York about a year ago. It went on the projects bench but yesterday I cleaned it up, repaired a few small problems and gave it a good lubrication. It actually runs great!
