When using two 0-60 Fastrack switches to create a crossover between parallel tracks, what is the resulting minimum center-to-center spacing of the tracks? We are looking to confirm 6"; some sources say 6.5".
Thanks, X2000
It depends upon what you place between the turnouts. One 1 3/8" no roadbed piece that is included with the switch provides a 6" center to center.
Use the 1 3/8" half-roadbed piece included, one on each switch and it sets a 6.5" center. From here, you can add an additional straight for more width.
FasTrack is designed for 6" centers by default on the curves for symmetrical track lines O36, O48, O60, O72, O84,O96 are 12" diameter differences, when halved for radius is 6"
