Be easy enough to add if you wanted it to flash. I have the circuit board and bulb in stock if you wanted flash on and off.

I have a red dome on top of my research car but nothing in it ?

yes it does have a search lite and it works good but i bought the car be cause it was suppose to have a red strobe on the roof not a empty red dome. i even called lionel and got a run around the gal there said maybe they changed there mine i said fine if thats the case take out of your add she said she wouldent know anything for three or four weeks and i could call back just a bunch of bs and run around from lionel.

Lionel will always tell you to verify contents on the box. And when it's on the box and not on the model, they'll offer you a refund.

Nah, nah, nah, nah... No apologizing for Lionel please. In this age of internet, online catalogs, and pre-orders, there has to be some accountability for advertising. Perhaps you are just stating their long standing policy... But in this case it was false advertising pure and simple. Lionel should refund the full amount to anyone who feels they were short changed. Either that, or retrofit. It is the ethical thing to do. Its in their best interest to make it right. If they establish a pattern of this they will lose credibility and customers. JMO.
