Controling other layout TMCC engines with Legacy

If I take my Legacy system to the local train museum should I be able to control their tmcc engines by simply entering the engine number they have programmed it to into my cab2 and starting it just like on my personal layout? Thanks in advance for you input and help.

do you mean your legacy base or does the local museum already have a base? if you are taking your base there are a few this you must do.
