Custom detailed Road Champs #6423 1:43 scale diecast 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck
This 1:43 scale diecast vehicle is a neat model that could be used with O scale model railroads. It is a close replica of the classic 1956 Ford pick-up truck. The model has "plastic" tires, opening doors and movable tail gate, rear hitch and a detailed interior. The model has a black plastic underframe.
Prototype photo shows the Ford F-100 with black bumpers.
The 1956 F-100 is a one-year only body style. The 1956 F-100 is easily identified as it has vertical windshield pillars and a wrap around windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55. The 1956 model also offered a larger wrap-around back window as an option.
The rear hitch has been removed. The model has also been disassembled for painting purposes. The underframe and the interior has been custom painted as shown.
