If you haven't seen David Long's work, then you haven't seen perfection!

Here's some pictures of his work, done at his business, Kelly Creek Backshop in Bozeman, MT: ATSF Mikado by David Long

He worked for NWSL for 20 years! and is an authorized retailer / installer for SoundTraxx.

He did the decal work on my RS11s, and will be the only person I'll count on to work on my motive power and rolling stock, and can do everything from re-motoring to fabricating from scratch, in all materials and especially brass.

Thanks,

Mario

From time to time, there are always folks looking for custom painters for our O-Gauge equipment. It is nice to have another good one at our disposal. He sure lives in a beautiful spot. Bozeman is one of those really nice places to live. I am sure that is why he is there.

Erik - I need some education.  The shades over the windows are black.  In your AtlasO forum post you mentioned that a lot of research was done before the Mikes were done.  That wood armrest is amazing.

My question is were the shades metal or canvas?  I've seen both black and "dirty" canvas colored shades.  I don't know what's right.  I imagine both could be.
