Hi All,

First of all this is second hand info... I had a friend call me here at the store about his SD70Ace and the ditch lights not working properly. We (he and I) believe that in the process of running the engine at the store (not mine) where he purchased the engine they inadvertently pushed some buttons to turn them off. He runs with the Legacy Lite so I was wondering if there is any way to turn them back on with that or do we need to use the full Legacy system.

I tried to look up manuals (I don't have any here) online and of course with their move and all the website is non functional. Any info appreciated.

If this is a newer locomotive from 2011 or later, simply do a TMCC address assignment, that resets the locomotive options. If it's an older Legacy, try resetting the TMCC address and then AUX1 then 2 to set the options. That's the reset for older Legacy diesels.

Cheryl, I’m not sure this will be at all helpful, but here are the relevant pages from the SD70ACE manual. It only discusses TMCC Cab-1 and LEGACY Cab-2 operation, not Cab-1L.
