ERR Cruise Commander M speed control question

The clubs system needs to be grounded through the 3 prong plug . Seems the transmitter uses the house wiring for 1/2 of the antenna via the equipment ground. Seems like a simple fix but it works. My home loop I had a locomotive that would only go half way around a 8x8 layout . I tried different antennas inside the engine ,nothing worked until I read someones post that explained it . Plugged the transformer into a 3 wire  extension before it was just 2 wire no ground and like magic problem solved.

I don’t believe the signal is the issue.  All functions from the remote work fine. It is just an issue of not having slow speed. 

When using the club remote (cab 2), make sure your engine is programmed in the remote as TMCC or 100 speed steps.  Good luck!

I agree with Bruce, check to see how it is programmed on the CAB2 INFO at the club.

I also want to say something about setting the stall setting, but I don’t know how/why that changes with TMCC or CAB settings.

Program the locomotive at the club with R100 control type and it'll run like it runs at home.  I suspect you're running it in TMCC mode at the club.

Did you sort it out?  I believe running through the DCS Remote you have to also do some configuration of the type in the DCS Remote, the exact details escape me now as I don't run that way.

Unfortunately, the clubs seasonal layout is dismantled for the year.  Will have to wait until next year,

At home I run my  TMCC engines with the Cab1 remote - I prefer the simplicity of it over the DCS remote...

I use the CAB1L when I run TMCC stuff as a rule, but for my Legacy, I like the full Legacy to have access to all the features.
