Nope, I haven't had those issues. keep a symmetrical track plan with no curves forced. relocate the pieces where the joint moved. Rough disassembly can bend the pins. Try the pin bend fix. It's a very gentle bend-like a 1/16" no more than an 1/8", but that can sometimes be too much.

Look for a broken tab or pinch piece in the roadbed under the rails that helps to lock the tracks.

    I have seen guys use the mini zip tie method before, it works very well, if you are going to run the later generation FasTrack as a Carpet Central, buy a bunch, they are cheap and they work.  I do believe Rob or another member posted this particular fix way back, when the 3rd generation 1st started to walk apart.

Thanks for the reply Dave. If I recall correctly I think I remember Ingeniero No1 suggesting the mini zip tie idea, but I am sure there were others too. It has worked well for me, but requires a steady hand when drilling. I did purchase a bag of 1000 mini zip ties which I also use for my car and other uses besides FasTrack.
