G scale outdoor around the trees

Had some fun venturing into G scale this weekend.  We had a train show and a candlelight tour in Beaufort NC.  I acquired and set up a version of the Champion running through my station of Wilson (NY to Florida back in the 50's and 60's) with an ACL diesel and PRR passenger cars ( I know but could not find ACL cars).  I was amazed by how many people on the tour stopped out back and spent time with the train.  Kids, grown ups of all ages.  Very neat!
