Chris, Nice work getting through a tougher part of laying a switch. Thanks for taking the time to show how you work the closure rails, stock rails from the frog down to the points. Looking forward to the next segment and all the details!
Thanks Mike...part 9 will be along soon.
Nice video! Keep the spirit of hand laid alive!
Dude ur killing me....ROTFLMAO..... I am thinking about a 34 part series on ballasting.....
Chris,
The fact that there are 8 videos is enough to discourage any remote interest I might have had! Now how much was that flex track again?
Simon
Chris, Your videos have inspired me to start hand laying my track, especially switches. I Have quite a few #7.5 Atlas switches available for sale, both LH and RH. I'll post soon.
Thanks Mike, I am glad to hear it.
Simon, that's a shame..... flex.....? Too much.

Chris,
You're a good guy and I had to kid you a bit. I'm not knocking those who like to do their own, but it's not for me! I have plenty of flex stashed!
Cheers,
Simon
Hi Simon, thanks. I didn't take it in a negative way, hand laying is not for everyone...and there is nothing wrong with that, ya gotta do what works for you. Many, many times I have wanted to throw my spiking pliers through the wall.

Hi Patrick, yeah I figured...I love it. That's gonna be my Christmas card....
Hi Chris I've been meaning to post on your thread for a while and I keep forgetting
to do so. I've been following these threads and some of your past threads. I must say you are a true craftsman. Just outstanding work, and the video's are filled with great
info. So thank you very much.
Thanks again, Alex
