I have a Legacy GP7 in beautiful GN livery. The headlight and front markers no longer function and Lionel no longer makes a replacement harness. Running without a headlight is bothersome. Any suggestions?

Tried all the controller ways to turn the lights back on? Seems like a lot of lights to all go out at once.
This is a Lionel long hood GN GP7 #6-28563. The "harness" with a 6 outlet plug has 2232-X005 on it and the wires are brown, green, red, yellow blue and white. The number boards light but not the headlight or green marker lights. I have double checked the connections and settings. Headlight led does not appear burnt out. Might it be more complicated than replacing the harness?
Odd- I just recently lost 2 myself on 2 different locomotives. Why do these go?
I was just hoping it was the harness as I might easily just replace it. Don't know how to check LEDs. So the board can be repaired?
I've put new LED's on a couple of those. The LED's actually do go bad, and the reasons are a mystery. I've replaced a couple as well, and I have several bad ones in my parts box. I have a couple that one marker LED went out, I couldn't find a decent replacement of the right size.
Thank you Marty F. for your information and encouragement. I need to check with you one more time so that I know that about which you speak. The previous pictures are mine of the aforementioned GP7 with front headlight and green markers non functional. If you would be so patient, please identify the PCB that you referenced several posts ago. Thanks in advance.
Either board is $12.50, though it may not be the board.
This one is $10.50, the distribution board.

Well, I got the above parts and with some difficulty installed the new distribution board (I had to solder six wires to pins - no plug into old board ). Front end now restored but fired up the engine and the rear head lights have failed. Guess I'll have to redo the rear end too. Can't understand why these boards are failing. I run an 18 watt brick through my MTH DCS. Could that be too much wattage? Thanks to Gunrunner for all your previous advice.
18 VOLT brick. Should be fine. Coincidence, but measuring the output voltage of your power source is not a bad idea.
I think 18 watts is a bit low, but I'm guessing this is a 180 watt brick! The brick is fine, it's not the problem.
Are you sure something's simply not loose? Both lights failing sounds like a connection issue.
