Hello, new to forum.

Well I finally did it!  I joined the forum. After being introduced to 3rail in 2010 and having had the childhood dream of building my own layout.  I started to look for some know how and inspiration,  that when I found this wonderful forum full of great people with lots knowledge, information and a passion for model trains.  I have been hooked and followed this forum ever since.  This forum has helped me answer many questions I had in building my first layout.  Thank you all.
     Here are some specs and pics of my layout. Enjoy.

Thank you all for the kind words and the warm welcome!!  I have learned a great deal from all that have posted previous threads while building my layout, and I hope to share some of my experiences along the way with others.

 

Phillyreading- Not to worry I have a small removable access panel on the backside of the mountain for cleaning track and for clearing derailments.  Good luck on your new layout adventure. Keep us updated on your progress.

rtr12, Mark Boyce- I will post more pics as i make more progress on the detail work and definitely of some trains running.

 

bigdodgetrain- I have been to The Western Depot.  What a great store and as for the service, it was outstanding.  Great people!!!  Will do!!
