That was a HOOT
I bet his neighbors love him!
I'd like to see more models with the Hancock Air Whistle, Seaboard used them on some of their E7s.
I'm surprised at how big a couple of them are , he seems to have them all.
Loved it!
Now I'm all horned up.
Quite So!! What's that you say???
(I put this on a speaker located in our chimney so the neighborhood could enjoy the
melodious sounds).
.....so far, no cops coming up the drive way, but then everybody is probably at work and
those that aren't should be.!!!
This guy is sure one heck of a horn blower.
This video scared our cats
I guess we'll be getting a few more for the club.

WOW!Hey bob hearing that lleslie RS5 gave me a flashback to when I was a kid.At home I could hear the seaboard fast freights on summer nights. And that nathanP5 southern railway. When I would visit my uncle in charottle and spend the night.I would hear both seaboard and southern blowing their whistles.
Reminds me of college days. I built a custom Triumph motorcycle for my roommate and he wanted a SERIOUS horn to put a scare in car drivers who came too close. So I dug up an Italian air horn like the ones they put on Ferraris and such and mounted it on the bike. It was a high-pitched, dual-chime screamer and it was actually painful to be in front of it when it went off.
Well, That is one way to HONK OFF, the Neighbors.
I have read that with ship's Fog Horns, you can guestimate the size of the vessel by the pitch of the fog horn, the Lower the pitch, the larger the vessel, out there hiding in the fog from you.
Basically, you flutists, get NERVOUS when you hear a Tuba out there in the fog.

when I was 12 I had 2 maserati air horns mounted on my handlebars with a life raft pump to energize them. cars would get out of my way when I sounded it. the pic is faded but you can see them and the pump.

Now that you mention it I think those were Maserati air horns I put on that Triumph. It had a 6 volt compressor mounted under the seat next to the battery.

Not saying he "toots his own horn", huh Brian?
You ought to hear him when he rings Captain John's bell at the club.
