I know there are some of that run either all conventional or conv. and PS1, and others that run PS2/PS3? Is there anyone that runs it all? If so, how do you do this, especially with the PS1?
I have seen some great deals on the tinplate ps1 engines, and know by putting in a BCR, most of your woe's are gone.
Do you activate the sounds with the Railking 750w Transformer and operate separately/

It depends on what you are trying to do. Most of the tinplate that I run I will on on separate loops to avoid any wrecks. I do run everything from original pre-war to DCS and Legacy so it just depends. You can run PS2/3 in conventional and they behave very close to a PS1.

Hello Joe,
I run my DCS in passive mode so I usually use a Cab1 or Cab2 controlling the transformer output and those do not do well in activating the sequences. I can use my ZW-L to do so but I usually just run the PS-1 units and blow the horn and sound the whistle. I do not bother with the coupler activation, etc.
