In case you're not sure, I'm talking about the 400E that MTH did for their model railroad club. I know Scott Smith here on the forum has one. I've been collecting the club 200 series cars and would like to find one of these 400E's.

How about a 392E in purple? Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/MTH-No...31f6c4#ht_8069wt_955 ends in 7 hours.
John.
I think there were two separate runs of the 400E. I believe the difference is the name plate showing a different year and a slightly different sound file. I think they show the same MTH numbers
I really like mine--they don't come up for bid very often--I'm sorry I missed the purple passenger cars--I just didn't have the funds when it came out.

Well, I just won that 392E off the bay. Does that mean I need to start collecting the 500 series mthrrc freight cars?!?

MTH never did a purple 408E, right?
No. But a custom paint would not be very difficult. Purple with a silver top?
If you want Purple 200 series cars to run behind the 392E just bend the coupler straight.

Yes. Every single one.
