I use my Android phone.  To download, I plug it into my computer, find the video file, cut it and paste it to a computer file.

Not sure I get what you mean by export.  They are simply video files that can be copied and pasted to wherever you want.  From there, you can send them to wherever you want.

The video files are stored on your device, most likely in a folder called "video".  I am not that familiar with apple devices but if you use your file manager app on your device you should be able to find them.  Once you have located them you can copy and paste to another location (such as an attached external device) or find them to attach to an email.

Keith, from your Ipad, go into the Lionel wireless cam app.  You will find the files.  Mine is under CM2510 with a long extension.   Click on that folder.  You should see alarm, download, record, and snapshot.  Not sure what the first two do, but click on record and your videos should be there.  Copy and paste to your desktop.  Snapshots works the same way.

Not 100% sure, but I think you need to save it first to your iPad. If you're familiar with how to save a picture to your iPad from a website, text or e-mail, try that - bring up the video and press and hold your finger on it and see if a box comes up asking if you want to save or copy or paste it. Hit save and it may save it to your photos folder on the iPad. If that works, you should be able to send or export it anywhere.

Glad to help !!

I am debating whether to order a Cupolacam caboose from the vol. II 2021 catalog...does the camera in the cupola take crisp and sharp videos? I assume their not HD level camera quality?

I didn't follow all the steps described above, and in layman's terms, assuming the camera takes good video, then I take it you can record the session on your phone, and then transfer to Youtube?

FWIW: I already have a HD camcorder that I have mounted on a flatcar...and trying to understand the benefits of the cupolacam caboose. It seems to me that it's more of "wow feature" for entertaining guests, such that each person could see the operating session on their phone, once they have the app?
