Hey y’all,
I had a question about audio on my Lionel Legacy engines. Is it possible to replace a sound file on the engine with a different audio file I have on my computer? If this is possible could you give me some directions on how to go about doing this?

In a word... no. Only Lionel can change a sound file. There is a s no way to add custom sounds on the user level.
You are better off finding a sound from another engine you like and then buying a sound board from said engine and installing it.
What you want to do is something i’ve been preaching for years.
