Any way, my question is related to 3880 - why did you choose that number for your model ? I rode in the cab of the actual 3880 in South Amboy, NJ, many years ago, and it has always held a special place in my heart.  So just curious how you chose that number to put on your engine ?  (Any idea where the Keystone for 3880 is ? I know PRR was selling them in the late 1950's, I hope SOMEBODY got that one to preserve it. Thanks - Jack M

Maybe you can get your wife to bring some track and trains downstairs and set it up for you.  Or, how about a "blind" running session, fire up the remote, crack the throttle and run by ear?

Maybe it's best to just dream about trains...
