I have a PW Lionel AC motor, perhaps for the 397 Coal Loader, but I have not been able to positively identify.  Any information from fellow members is greatly appreciated.  Brush plate is style #364M-24, possible a 397M-1 motor?  Turning open armature by hand produced a 1/4 turn of output shaft from gearbox with 130 turns of the armature.  That relates to gear ratio of 520:1...?  Opinions...….

Thank you, Chuck and Train Nut, for the info and quick replies.  With all the books and maintenance publications I have, could not locate any definite identification.  A lot of schematics, but not enough for positive id.  I have two of the 364 log loaders, several of the 397 coal loaders.  Have been considering making use of this for my "under construction" 34" turntable I am building ( progressed good today with acquisition of a 17" lazy susan).

Again, thanks , gentlemen
