It's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!! Share your railroad's team track photos here! Team track operations are a vital part of day to day railroad operations. Team tracks are located in rural areas, small towns, and large cities. Team tracks, also called public delivery tracks, is a multi - purpose siding that offers the off/on loading of practically all kinds of freight cars, some passenger train head end cars, and MOW equipment.
If your railroad has a non - dedicated siding, meaning that the siding does not service a specific industry, you have the makings of a team track. All team track folks are welcome to post here ... those with finely detailed layouts, those with a simple loop of tin plate track with a team track siding .... and all those layouts falling somewhere in between!
This week on the Free State Junction Railway in Lower Patsburg, a car load of refreshing 7 Up has arrived just in time for the up and coming heat wave! The crew is helping the tractor driver position the gleaming new trailer up to the door of the freshly painted C&O refer car. Have a playfully creative week!!
See you next TUESDAY on The TEAM TRACK!! ( still no sign or clue of Mr. Haney )
