What settings are in the Legacy handheld for the engine?

Change the engine type to either CAB1 or R100 in the settings.

Hello CAPPilot I was using the settings for Control set as TMCC and RS for sound. I received a message from gunrunnerjohn to set it for Cab1 or R100. I will try these setting and see if that works and I'll  let you know what happens. I hope setting it for Cab1 will correct my problem. Do you think that I should use RS for sound? Thanks for your help.

The sound setting won't make any difference in the throttle response.

I have found all my old 32 speed step TMCC locomotives preform like this with a Legacy controller, so I just keep using my Cab-1 controller for those locomotives. 

I have this same locomotive, but my problem is that the longer it's running on the layout, the slower it gets.  I thought maybe it was getting to hot, but the shell is still stone cold to the touch.  And then after a while it doesn't even have the strength to pull a train around O54 curves.  Not sure if replacing the guts with ERR cruse would help or not.

If the engines has the Kline cruise, this is a common problem and the board is beginning to go bad.  ERR will be a upgrade for trouble free operation.  Send it to Gunrunner if you are not up to the install.

Just change the locomotive type in the CAB2 to CAB1 and you'll be back to operation like the old TMCC system.

As far as I know it does not have cruise.
