Kenworth W900 1:43 scale Dump Truck

Nice model, but there is way too much space between the top of the dump body overhang and the roof of the cab.

The model will be modified to reduce the spacing of the overhang. Photos coming showing the modfication and repaint.

Here is the modified truck.  Included repainting of the gray plastic dump body using a stainless steel metallic finish.

You sure that the model is 1/43?  Most trucks and construction equipment that we use for "0" gauge layouts is 1/50 scale.  i know that those are small when compared to  our cars, but they do look pretty correct on the layout.

The original box indicates 1:43 scale.

I have that model and it measures a scale 9 feet wide. 6 scale inches too wide. I prefer the 1/43 trucks to the 1/50. If I ran traditional lionel size I would do 1/50
