Killed my ERR sound board

wmcwoodOGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

One of the wires from the reed switch was detached. So I am fairly certain one of the reed switch wires touched the track.

Anyone know what would happen (burned up) and more importantly is it trash or repairable?

When Lionel was running ERR, you could send a board back and get it repaired for a reasonable fee. Is the same policy in effect now that ERR is handled by 3rd rail?
