Easy to see how many of us took an instant bond to "Layout Vignettes". Great idea put into easy terms by the thread starter. At 11 full pages and still growing, it has to quality as worthy of its own forum, but should be tied into "Hi-Rail, 027/0" etc. for ease of access. Makes me want to upgrade my layout and nuance some of the scenes in hopes of being worthy of the posts in that thread.

It is one of the best threads on these forums, and one I look forward to opening each morning. It is not only entertaining, but full of great creative ideas I can use simply ooze out of the pictures: I have no pride - I will willingly plagiarize the good ideas of others!

Yes, this certainly is one of the best. It gives us the insight to many of each other's talents and imaginations displayed in unique and interesting stories.

just wish I had the third eye to do the things that are done on it. some of the shots. you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between model and real

Anything You need to plagiarize should be bronzed and put in a museum, your layout is fantastic. I always read your posts to see what I can copy or mod to fit mine.
Now, I will admit, I like that thread too, Lots of interesting views in there.

I am glad to hear you say that Lee as I blatantly stole the idea for the thread from an earlier post by you with the picture of the two buddies talking sports cars. Go back and look, your exact words were "one of my favorite vignettes". I started the thread an hour later.

It is one of the best threads. So many ideas that one could incorporate into their own layout no matter the size.
I have really enjoyed it.
