Wally,

Play & Play, that is the answer! I had one of the first Legacy 990's issued, and it was so New, no one knew the answers! So play, my friend ! You can read the Manual cover to cover which might help a little, but the only way to learn is by doing "Hands On" !!!! At least now it's been a number of years the System has been out, and you can ask questions!!  Someone will have the answer on this Forum, most from practical experience!! Enjoy "Legacy" it is fun!!!!

Regards

Fred

Thanks guys;

Helpful to me: read the manual, work with the Remote with some baby steps, read the manual again, this time making notes of relevant sections/related sections (this helped to put the pieces together, which are somewhat scattered in the manual, like p. 74).

It was great to see the AC6000 move out the first time, even though it was on CAB-1.

Onward and upward to full Legacy operation.

Wally

Wally,

   There are also Lionel Legacy teaching films you might want to view, right on line.  IMO the Legacy HHRC is one of the best engineering advances in Lionel history and their is nothing like the Lionel low voltage, FasTrack Command Control Switches, operated wire free from the Legacy HHRC, as many as 99 on track power.
