Received my VisionLine "Old Rivets" GG-1 and found several parts on the bottom of the box. Can someone tell me what this small brass part is and where it goes? Thanks!

Not at all familiar with GG1's, is it a bell mounted under the frame?
Hmmm.... part of the pantograph....

I'd say a bell. But I haven't received mine yet.
If you found several parts I would send it back and ask for replacement or refund.
Yes, it's a bell! Goes on top in the rear just forward of the rear panto. Easy fix. Thanks for the replies.
Not seeing a bell on my 4913 tuscan red GG1....still thinking its part of the pantograph...

Pretty sure G bells weren't on top!

Seems that a top mounted bell was only used on the 4899 "Old Rivets" version. None of my welded G's show a bell.

Thanks for clearing that up......thought I was now missing parts!

Does Lionel have images of "Rivets" anywhere on the web site yet? I couldn't find any. Did see a Golden Gate Depot "Rivets" version with the top mounted bell via Google though.
