Roo posted:Joe. Great photos and modelling mate can't wait to see your new layout.
Chris, good stuff so many great photos hard to keep up with everything. Roo.
Thanks Roo. It will be a while before the new layout is ready for pictures. I have a train room but it's too cluttered right now. I'm working on clearing it out so I can start on the new layout, hopefully sometime in January. I will start a layout thread as soon as there is something worth showing.
Dan986 posted:Can you please post some more photos of the record store? It looks like there is a well done detailed interior I would like to see more of.
We just moved into our new house and my buildings are still in shipping boxes. I have these 2 photos, but they are not great. The record shop is an MTH Railking Railtown building and it came with the interior. I will post better pictures when I get the buildings unpacked in about a month or two.

Neat store Joe. Thanks for sharing
E. Willers posted:Erik, the night scenes, particularly the Pratt & Main shot, remind me of the movie American Graffiti. I see in another view that you have a black '55 Chevy, so all you need is the yellow '32 coupe to do the race scene. Excellent work btw.
Thanks Mr Willers

'A little further down Pratt and Railroad Ave after midnight. A pretty quiet town this time of night. The Shapiro Apartments are still lit up pretty good however.

Erik C, Wow, great pictures and great work.
Good evening, I am going to try this again since the photos did not show up last night.
This is my downtown area where it is the winter season all the time.

Looks great Mark
Mark.
I like the winter scene not a common thing that is modelled, looks good mate. I have some Builders in Scale "Snow" in reality it's white Marble Dust but I won't get around to using it, don't know anything about snow except you Ski on it Ha Ha. Thanks for posting. Trying to find some of my "downtown" photos from years past having trouble, was slack in filing photos in the early days to busy building things! Roo.

Roo,
agree a winter scene is unusual. It's done really well. I think the images shown on your post here are just marvelous.
Roo, no comments on my posts? I like your comments and sort of wonder what you had to say.
I hope it wasn't something I wrote? Past or present?
I think what you have done is marvelous and your participation on OGR is a blessing.
I appreciate your postings and always eagerly await to see what your up too.
Rule292,
Those are a combination of my work and Jefferson's.
I will pass along the love to Jefferson he will smile from your comment.
Our little group is devoted to and very passionate detail.
Thank you.

Thanks Ron!
Lionel Grandpa,
Very nice downtown. If you place a mirror on the backside of the trestle, it would make this scene even better.
Erik. No, you have not upset me in anyway I've always enjoyed your photos and have commented on them, and have seen them on other sites as well. I don't spend a lot of time on the computer when I do it's all or nothing I am notorious for forgetting to answer messages and emails doesn't mean I don't like the person or what I see, just means I'm old and forgetful. I have a very large family and when I retired nothing changed I still work as hard as I did when I worked in a full time job. I know something I have a lot more respect for mums with children now that I spend half my time with them. Running a business is easy (your organised) looking after children full time is not! I enjoy the easy going no pressure atmosphere here at OGR. I'm cool Erik. No worries mate! Roo.
