I've had a problem with a no. 82825 LionChief + GP38 going into full acceleration. I've isolated the problem (pictures below).
When either or both of the yellow and red wires that feed into the molex connector (just back from the front motor) are pushed inward towards the center of the engine, toward the rest of the electronics/wire bundle, the motors go from whatever cruise setting they are set at, to full speed. When the yellow and red wires are pulled back (towards the side of the frame and the handrails) the motors return to normal cruise control operation. Sometimes it seems if they are moved much at all the motors also go to full speed.
I've tried pulling the molex connector out and then re-seating it. This had no effect on the problem.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this odd behavior? Thanks.
