Lionel 180 watt Powerhouse | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of building my first o scale 3-rail layout.

I want to use the legacy control system.

I would like to power it with 4 180 W powerhouses from Lionel.

i can't seem to find any other than used on e-bay at outrageous prices.

My question, does Lionel still produce this item?

if not, what can I use in place of the powerhouse?

I believe that the UL requirements changed and thus, required a change to the internals. I believe that the ship date is now 3rd quarter of 2017.

Many folks have been scrambling for them. One route was to search for ebay sales of ZW-C's that include the bricks.
