I just opened a sealed 12900 set. There were two different Overton passenger car boxes. One labeled Ulysses S Grant and the other Abraham Lincoln. In both boxes, however, were Ulysses S Grant cars. Either there was a factory error, or Lionel never made a Lincoln car.
Does anyone know if the Lincoln car exists and if they were packed in the sets? (picture on set box shows the two different cars)

From what I can find, the set should have come with (1) 6-15126 Lincoln car and (1) 6-15127 Grant car.
610-5126-007 is the replacement number for the Lincoln car body and 610-5127-007 for the Grant car body.

First I will contact Lionel to see if they have any shells (doubtful since that was 14 years ago).
If that does not work, I will try the Forum buy/sell and TCA/LCCA exchanges.

Jeff, I checked the Lionel site and it looks like none of the shells are available for the Civil War Passenger cars.
