Steve did a short video showcasing what was in the catalog. Was very kind of him!
Not sure if it will post to their YouTube channel later or not.
What’s with Lionel? It says click to view and it’s still not posted
Major disappointment no D&H challenger
It is linked up now.
Here is a full review video of the catalog.
Just an FYI, i emailed Ryan K. from Lionel regarding adding the swinging bell feature for the PRR L1 as well as Strasburg RR #89. Here is his reply:
"Mark,
Neither locomotives has room for the swinging bell. Also if memory serves correctly the L1 air ringer swung only the clapper and not the bell itself so I believe it would not have been correct even if it had fit.
We are still using the friction bearing style trucks on Standard O stock. While I realize the details are less accurate, these simplified trucks are a large part of keeping the costs lower on this line of cars.
Thank you,
Ryan

Oh well. At least the MSRP for the ex MTH PRR L1 is cheaper than the intro PS2 L1 which was around $1100.00 according to the Brentwood Antiques book.
Well, I sort of knew that there wouldn't be any swinging bell in the Mogul's or the L1's, I'm okay without that. I only want one of the 18" Heavyweights "Pequea Valley" Red, and Strasburg #12 caboose. Go in on 1369 L1, and Strasburg 89(2000's) and that is it. The only other thing may be one of the PRR Cabin Car which I don't know the difference between that and a caboose. I did email Ryan on those as it is listed that there is a removable coal load which I doubt. I would imagine that most likely it should be "detailed interiors" but I guess we'll wait and see.

From Ryan
"The cabooses won’t have coal but they do have detailed interiors with figures and LED lighting. The markers are also illuminated.
Sort of a let down — the greenbrier is the only thing
