Lionel B&A Berk Tender - prototype?

It seems they "upgraded the tenders" on the last order of locomotives http://www.steamlocomotive.com/berkshire/?page=nycn

 K-Line in order to save on tooling did the Berkshire with a tender from their Hudson. These tenders did appear after the war on the J2 Hudsons and I've seen pictures with them on the Berkshires. The NYC Hudsons recieved the new Centipide tenders and the B&A recieved their old ones.

 Another tender I'ved seen used are those on the NYC L2a Mohawk that Lionel produced a few years back. The original Berkshire tenders haven't been done except in brass. When working with die cast cost becomes a factor.

 I'm in on this one. I already own both K-Line ones. Will be my first Legacy engine. Hopefully Lionel will re run the L2a with Legacy as they did doublehead during the war with the Berkshires.

Looks like a six axle tender here.
