Nope. Using a Lionel Powerhouse 180 brick. I've decided to abandon using the controllers because now my other controller won't throw the switch but both work fine on command so I'm just going to go that route. 

I take it that the derailing feature works as well. That sounds like too much to go wrong with the controllers to just be a wire. That would annoy me until it's fixed. I do rely on the controllers for switch position much of the time.

The auto derailing feature works well. My other controller doesn't want to throw the switch anymore so I disconnected both of them and am just using the remote to throw them.
