What is left of the Lionel Chesterfield Offices? What I call Lionel it is a 586 number, but when I drive by their offices it seems all shut down. They post their address to be in Chesterfield but it seems that everything has moved to Ohio. Just was curious.

I sure did, but if you will read the original posters question, he refers to the Chesterfield MICHIGAN location! The Lionel Service Center is in Ohio.
Reading and comprehension comes to mind.
Lionel just opened a new office in Sterling Heights, MI. In the 586 area code.
I am surprised that they are spread so far around the country.
Back in 2010 when Lionel acquired RCCA for the Nascar die-cast collectibles which is in North Carolina. Now Lionel is in the same huge building as RCCA, RCCA occupies the whole 2nd floor. Lionel's offices are on the 1st floor along with all of the product storage and most of that warehouse area is for the RCCA Nascar die-cast items.
So to me it makes sense that in North Carolina there is a very large building already being used by part of their business and now it houses both Lionel & RCCA.
Is RCCA what used to be Racing Champions?
I was big in to NASCAR die cast years ago but got out of it.

No
The move to Sterling Heights includes some engineering guys, book keeping and some sales staff.

Who said different?
Those staff members were the only ones left on 23 mile rd. It's no surprise they moved into smaller quarters. I would expect them to be gone some time soon as well.
