I have one of these K3470-1295CC tank engines with K Line Cruise. I'm thinking about putting in an ERR Cruise M and if I recall, I'll need a new Cruise trigger.

I'm thinking maybe the new  Super Chuffer will be the best answer. Otherwise, what would be another approach? Is it micro switch ready?

Chuck, the optical chuff generator is working, but I haven't gotten any production quantities.  Right now I use them in my upgrades from a hand-built stock.  I should have product on the website in the early summer if all goes well.

One of the issues is how I package it as flywheel spacing is somewhat critical and it's different for many steamers.  Those are issues that are more problematic than actually getting it to work.

The Super-Chuffer and this chuff generator work together to give you programmable chuff rate and the fan and lighting control.

OK, thanks. I will look forward to trying one on this engine. I like the engine but today I was running it on a friend's layout and it really ran funky. When I got home I remembered that it runs better on the R100 setting. So for now, I can wait till summer.

Thanks for the good stuff!
