Nice video, which accurately reflects the fine sound of this set.
I 'm not one to gripe but the one thing about this set that does not come up to the standard of the TMCC Santa Fe diesels is the Mars Light. It looks good on video but I think that masks the relative lack of variation in the pulsing or simulated sweep of the light, which is especially good on the older models.
Mine also smokes a helluva lot more than the video shows but that's a story for another thread, maybe titled "20/40/60 drops of smoke fluid- a cautionary tale" . . . .
After reviewing the pictures posted earlier in the thread, it appears a mistake was made on one of the Penn Central units. Based upon the illustration in the catalog, I believe one was to be numbered 4325, correct for a former New York Central unit which ran out its final miles in North Jersey Coast Line commuter service. The actual model, however, carries the number of 4235 which was a former PRR E7, not correct for an E8 model.
Please understand I'm not looking to take away from anyone's enjoyment of the models. Rather, I'm just pointing out something I noticed after looking at the pictures.
